Meet the co-owners of Trainalyst who have extensive education and experience in their individual fields.

While working together in clinical practice, Vanessa and Kristen found  when the fields of Industrial Organizational Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis merge, it promotes an optimal organizational experience for not just the organization and it's employees, but also its consumers. 

Kristen Maple, BCBA,COBA

Kristen Maple, co-owner of Trainalyst, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has several years of  professional experience providing clinical services to individuals with developmental disabilities, Autism, and behavioral needs. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Linguistics and Communication Studies from Ashford University, and a Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Harvard University. In addition to her masters degree, Kristen has a graduate certificate from Harvard University in Organizational Behavior. She has worked as an Operations Director for a clinical practice in which she created sustainable policies and procedures. Kristen is passionate about Industrial  Organizational Psychology and volunteers as a Student Mentor at Harvard University Extension School.

Vanessa Fessenden, BCBA-D,COBA

Vanessa Fessenden is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D). She has worked extensively with individuals with autism and behavior disorders, providing intervention, designing, implementing, and monitoring behavior analysis programs for clients. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has a Ph.D. in Special Education with an emphasis in autism and applied behavior analysis (ABA) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Vanessa has owned and operated a clinical practice providing ABA services for over 15 years. Her experience includes consultation within school districts, clinical based ABA and behavioral services, parent training and coaching, and mentorship of those new to the field of ABA.
